Description

Mr Mustard and Teapot: 9 x 7½ x 7½ ins (23 x 19 x 19 cm)

Frustratingly there is no signature nor handy provenance to give a clue to authorship

Exhibited at the United Society of Artists annual exhibition 1967

This is a classic view of The Pool at a time when it’s usefulness had started to terminally wane

or perhaps that’s just the red tunic
